Liberty has taken on some tough opponents this year, but this Mansfield team was something different, ranked #2 in the state for Class 3. Liberty came out and surprised everyone with taking the lead at the end of the first quarter, leading 19-15. After 2 and some good basketball playing on both sides, Liberty was still leading 31-28. After some back and forth action and a few turnovers, Mansfield took the lead at the end of the 3rd, 46-44. Liberty took a time out with 3:22 left in the fourth as Mansfield took the largest lead of the game by either team, 62-54. Liberty could not catch back up to Mansfield finishing the game 73-60.
