Summersville Advances in State Volleyball
(Summersville) The Summersville Wildcats will be one of two area teams advancing in state volleyball competition after Thursday’s sectional round.

Summersville defeated Chadwick 3-0 to move on to play South Iron Saturday at Annapolis.
Mountain Grove advances in class 3 after beating Mount Vernon 3-0.
Mountain Grove will play in the quarterfinals Saturday at Clever.
In class 2, both area teams were eliminated. Liberty lost 3-0 to Fair Grove while Houston, who was readmitted to the playoffs by a court stay after a ruling against the MSHSAA, lost at Stover, 3-0.
