1st Quarter: Tip controlled by the Liberty Eagles as Thayer Bobcats play a man to man defense. A foul call and Brayden Mays will shoot two in an attempt to put Liberty on the board first. He misses both free throws and the ball will go back to the Thayer Bobcats. Baseline front of the rim shot by Brandon Prince puts the Bobcats on the board first, 2-0. Bobcats keep holding onto it and this allows Prince to score one more two pointer. A three pointer is good by Draydon Wells, putting the Eagles on the board first. Bounce pass and another three by Alex Tune puts Liberty up by two, 6-4. Back to the Bobcats and two more by Prince and taken back, make it two more for Draydon Wells. Gavin Reese throws it to wrong colored jersey and two buckets by Devin Harrington and now another lead by the Bobcats. This comes back up by three with two free throws by Brayden Prince. Another jumper by Cooper Clark who now has four in the game, both jumpers. A good three to end the quarter by Easton Pitts. Bobcats lead at the end of one, 16-10.

2nd Quarter: Another baseline rim shot by Prince who keeps the Bobcats up by Ten. Parker Tune is able to make two more for the Eagles. But the pressure continues as both Prince and Pitts continue making back to back two pointers. Pitts makes several more free throws as well as Riley White for the Bobcats as they have now jumped up to eighteen. Parker Tune makes his sixth point off the glass as he continues to get a few easy looks, but still not many substantial shots for the Eagles in the second quarter. They do however manage to cut it back down to ten several times as Bobcats flirt with as many as eighteen. Bobcats try for the last shot, almost loosing it. They keep the lead at the half.

HALFTIME- Thayer Bobcats: 33/ Liberty Eagles: 20

3rd Quarter: Eagles have the ball to start the second half and an easy bucket thrown in by Draydon Wells. Wells scores again on a block, passes to Lincolin Hines who scores the first three of the Second half. Thayer tries to keep it on the next possession but they lose it out of bounds. Another blocked shot and ball will stay with the Thayer Bobcats. Another inbound dunk by Wells and it is once again a ten point game. Eagles get their first offensive board as Reese prevents Bobcats from picking it back up again. Bobcats eventually pick it up and a one hander for Devin Harrington. Two more for Hines on the next Eagle possession, but rebound Braden Prince and a putback. This will put the Bobcats  Two buckets by Reese while still facing a large abundance of defensive pressure by the Bobcats, This pressure is still allowing the Bobcats to make plenty of trips to the line as two free throws by Cordell Washington keep them up by nine, 44-35 with under two minutes to go. Brian Thompson comes into the game unguarded and cuts the lead to four, 40-44 with about a minute left.

4th Quarter: Eagles have spread out to a matchup zone and this is how they continue to play as they have spread out and had a good third quarter as a result. A turnover allows Harrington and Prince to put the Bobcats back out by eleven and a 9-0 run. A foul call finally allows Gavin Reese to shoot two, making one. Reese eventually makes a three, his fourth three pointer in the game. Bobcats continue to be very accurate of the line, at least half of their 58 points have been from the line. Four more free throws by Cordell Washington. Another three pointer by Reese for the Eagles and one more easy layup to lock things in for the Bobcats.

This pretty much settles things as the Bobcats sweep the Eagles through both Boys and Girls Games and winning the district title

FINAL SCORE- Thayer Bobcats: 64/ Liberty Eagles: 49
