MSHSAA Issues Requests for Proposals for Championship Venues
April 26, 2022. The Board of Directors of the Missouri State High School Activities Association has
resolved to request proposals from event venues and communities desiring to serve as the host of any of
the following MSHSAA High School State Championships and Festivals:
Basketball State Championships – Boys & Girls 2023-24 through 2027-28
Volleyball State Championships – Girls 2023-24 through 2027-28
Wrestling State Championships – Girls 2024-25 through 2028-29
Wrestling State Championships – Boys 2024-25 through 2028-29
Cross Country State Championships – Boys & Girls 2024-25 through 2028-29
Music State Festival 2024-25 through 2028-29
Proposals for each Championship or Festival will be accepted for hosting any or each of the designated
years. Venues are not required to propose or to host each year. However, in evaluating proposals the
Association reserves the right to consider the benefits of long-term commitments.

The proposal return deadline is 1:00 p.m., CST, Monday, June 6, 2022
The MSHSAA State Championships and Festivals attract tens of thousands of visitors, and generate direct
tourism of several million dollars for the host communities. All communities and venues interested and
capable of hosting a state championship are encouraged to consider submitting proposals, and playing a
part in building those life long memories for the students and communities participating.
