SPRINGFIELD — Missouri State University has announced its ticketing and game-day procedures for its upcoming homecoming football game against Central Arkansas on Oct. 17.
Starting at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 6, tickets may be purchased online at MissouriStateBears.com/tickets. Tickets may also be purchased in person or by phone during regular box office hours – Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. – at the Old Missouri Bank box office at JQH Arena, (417) 836-7678.
To provide social distancing and comply with city and county ordinances, stadium capacity will be limited to 6,000 spectators for this game.
Masks or facial coverings will be required for stadium common areas such as entry queues, restrooms, concession stands and souvenir kiosks. It is also strongly recommended that spectators wear masks throughout the duration of the game in their seats. Hand sanitizing stations will be readily available throughout the stadium.
Likewise, the following game day-procedures and policies were formulated to provide for the safety of other fans, staff and student-athletes, in addition to increasing the number of touchless services.
TICKETING
- Attendance restrictions will limit the number of tickets available for home games.
- Because stadium capacity is limited and box office operations may be limited on game day, fans are encouraged to purchase tickets early.
- Adult tickets range from $12 to $25. Tickets may not be available in all sections and seating will only be available in every other row.
- Fans may purchase between 1 and 6 tickets per transaction.
- There will be 2,000 tickets available to Missouri State students on a first-come, first-served basis on game day. Students may present a valid BearPass ID for entry to the stadium’s east side on game day.
- Discounts are available for children, senior citizens and Missouri State faculty and staff.
- Ticketing procedures for the spring season will be determined at a later date.
FAN ENTRY
- Gates open 60 minutes before kickoff (6:00 p.m.). All stadium entry points will be open.
- Masks or facial coverings will be required for stadium common areas such as entry queues, restrooms, concession stands and souvenir kiosks.
- It is also strongly recommended that spectators wear masks throughout the duration of the game in their seats.
- Hand sanitizing stations will be readily available throughout the stadium.
PARKING
- Lots 19 and 22 will be available to all season ticket holders.
- Lot 4 is reserved for suite holders and media.
- Free general fan parking is available in the BearPark South parking garage on Grand St., or in non-reserved lots adjacent to the stadium.
TAILGATING
- There will be no traditional BearFest Village tailgating area this season.
- Individuals may still tailgate from their vehicles in Lots 18, 22 and 24, south of Grand Street.
- Alcohol possession and consumption is allowed in these lots, but must adhere to the University Alcohol Policy.
- Social distancing will be expected for all tailgating activities, and groups will be limited to no more than 20 individuals.
- University tailgating and alcohol policies will be enforced.
BEAR WALK
- Social distancing will be expected during the team’s pregame BearWalk from Forsythe Athletics Center to Plaster Stadium.
- Traditional contact with players, coaches and staff – high fives, handshakes, etc. – will be strictly prohibited.
STADIUM SERVICES
- Stadium amenities, including concessions, souvenirs, restrooms, first aid and other services, will be available in the stadium on game day.
- Masks or facial coverings will be required for stadium common areas such as entry queues, restrooms, concession stands and souvenir kiosks.
- Gates will open 60 minutes prior to kickoff (6:00 p.m.).
