Tiger Woods returned to Georgia’s Augusta National for his first competitive round of golf against the world’s best players since Nov. 15, 2020.
Woods shot a 1-under 71 in the first round of The Masters on Thursday to put him in a solid position.

Tiger couldn’t quite bend over to read the putts on the course’s tricky greens, but there otherwise was little to suggest he’d been severely injured in a car crash.
Later, he said, “I felt good. Once the adrenaline kicks in and I get into my own little world, I knew I should be able to handle business.”
