Tigers 4, Royals 3

The Royals were walked-off by the Detroit Tigers in a 4-3 ten-inning loss at Comerica Park. Anthony Misiewicz gave up a game-winning single to Detroit’s Harold Castro and was charged with his second loss in relief. The Royals led by three heading into the bottom of the eighth before Dylan Coleman gave up three runs to send the game to extras. Hunter Dozier hit his 12th home run in the losing effort. Kansas City drops to 63-and-91. Daniel Lynch takes the mound for the Royals against Detroit tonight.

Royals manager Mike Matheny says that Dylan Coleman made good pitches, but the Tigers were able to get hits off of him anyway.
