The Tokyo Olympics has a new date in 2021 after being pushed back a year due to the coronavirus outbreak.
The Summer Olympics in Tokyo will now be held from July 23rd to August 8th in 2021. The Games were scheduled to start July 24th but were postponed.

The Summer Games will still be called the 2020 Olympics despite the delay.
Only World War I and World War II have forced the Olympics to be canceled in 1916, 1940 and 1944.
