Perkins is one of 12 student-athletes to earn an invitation to the elite camp, led by 19-year NBA All-Star Chris Paul. The camp, which is set for Las Vegas from June 30 to July 3, teaches the attendees what it takes to play at the highest level and how to prepare for the hurdles they will face in college and then the NBA.

A first-year transfer at Mizzou, Perkins helped lead Iowa to 86 wins during his four-year career with the Hawkeyes, 47 conference victories, three NCAA Tournament appearances and the 2022 Big Ten Tournament title. Overall, he amassed 1,175 points, 398 rebounds, 321 assists and 137 steals during his four years at Iowa.

Earning second-team All-Big Ten honors in 2023-24, Perkins ranked second on the team with 14.0 points per game this past season, while leading the Hawkeyes with 158 assists and 54 steals. Perkins finished the campaign ranked 77th nationally with 4.6 assists per game and 65th with an assist-to-turnover ratio of 2.39, while also adding 4.4 rebounds per game.

A native of Indianapolis, Indiana, Perkins is one of just three players in Iowa history with 1,100 points, 375 rebounds, 300 assists and 130 steals. He started the last 81 games for the Hawkeyes and also received honorable mention to the All-Big Ten team in 2022-23.

Perkins is part of a Mizzou program that welcomes the nation’s No. 5 freshman class and the No. 12 transfer class for the 2024-25 season – marking one of just three schools in the nation to add a top-15 class in both.
