Salvador Perez cranked his 21st home run in the losing effort, and Daniel Lynch was charged with his 11th loss after surrendering three runs in five innings. Kansas City has dropped five of six to fall to 57-and-87. Jonathan Heasley starts for the Royals in Boston tonight.
