COLUMBIA, Mo. – The University of Missouri Volleyball team will compete at Kansas City’s Big Spring Tournament Saturday. The Tigers will play three matches at the Tournament held at the Swinney Recreation Center on the campus of the University of Missouri – Kansas City.
Mizzou will open the day with a 9 a.m., CT match against Northern Iowa (UNI) on Pool A Court 2 before facing Wichita State at 10 a.m. on Pool A Court 1. The Tigers will conclude the tourney with a noon match against Tulsa on Pool A Court 1.
Saturday marks the third spring competition for MU in 2023 after a pair of home matches against Missouri S&T (March 11) and SIUE (March 18).
GENERAL INFO
Fans can enter the Swinney Recreation Center near the North Lobby and the entrance off of 51st Street. Fans must enter through the North Lobby where access to the courts are. Once inside, the only way to exit is through the North Lobby – all other doors are alarmed. Please do NOT go out these doors.
Admission to the tournament is free and open to the public.
DIRECTIONS & PARKING
Fans may park complimentary on the 5th and 6th floor of the Cherry Street Garage on Saturday only at max an hour prior to game time till one hour max at conclusion of the match. Avoid ‘metered’ marked parking spots on the 5th level as you will get a ticket if parked in a metered spot. All other locations on campus require a purchased parking pass or else you may be ticketed by the UMKC campus police force. From the Cherry Street parking garage, utilize the enclosed walkway bridge in the northeast corner on the 5th floor which leads to the Swinney Recreation Center.

The Tigers will wrap up their spring schedule on April 22 against the Saint Louis Billikens on the campus of SLU. First serve is set for 1:30 p.m., CT in Saint Louis.
