Volleyball Travels to Ole Miss for Two-Match Series

COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri volleyball will travel to Oxford, Miss., to take on the Ole Miss Rebels in a two-match series Friday, Oct. 20, and Saturday, Oct. 21.

Action Friday is set for 7 p.m., while first serve Saturday is slated for 4 p.m. Friday’s bout will air on SECN, while Saturdays is set for SECN +.

SERIES SNAPSHOT

  • Mizzou leads the all-time series over Ole Miss 17-8.
  • The two sides met in a two-match series last fall, with Mizzou dropping both matches 3-0 to the Rebels.
  • Mizzou has won 10 of its last 13 matches played against Ole Miss.

  • Freshman Estella Zatechka produced a season-best 16 digs against Auburn.
  • Sophomore Trista Strasser recorded eight blocks against Auburn – the seventh time in 2022 she has produced five or more rejections.
  • Senior Anna Dixon tallied up the most total kills in the two matches against Auburn with 35, while sophomore Kaylee Cox followed with 30. They lead the Tigers on the season with 224 and 243 respectively.
