WAINO, EDMAN RALLY CARDINALS FANS FOR CHARITY FANTASY FOOTBALL LEAGUE

ST. LOUIS — Now in its 10th season, Big League Impact’s annual fantasy football league gives
St. Louis Cardinals fans a chance to compete head-to-head with their favorite Major Leaguers
— all for a great cause.
Big League Impact was launched in 2013 out of St. Louis Cardinals pitcher and Big League
Impact founder Adam Wainwright’s love for fantasy football and charity. As the organization
enters the 2022 season, its vision — led directly by the players who support it — has grown
considerably, but its mission remains the same: to fight poverty through the platform of sports.
Led by Wainwright and teammate Tommy Edman, the weekly salary cap league powered by
fantasy platform RealTime Sports will benefit:
● Wainwright’s efforts to help address malnutrition and food insecurities with his
agricultural programs at 5 Oaks Farm in Georgia.
● The St. Louis Public Schools Foundation, which works to engage and focus local,
regional and national support to promote educational success for St. Louis Public School
District students.
● Cardinals Care, which is dedicated to improving the lives of children.
Participants will compete for a grand prize trip for two to Spring Training, plus chances to win all
kinds of exciting and exclusive prizes all season long. Registration in the St. Louis league also
includes an invitation to a one-of-a-kind game-day experience on Friday, Aug. 26 at Busch
Stadium, followed by a watch party in an all-inclusive suite while the Cardinals take on the
Atlanta Braves. Fans will also enjoy a pregame Q&A with Wainwright and Edman, and will get
special access to watch batting practice and play catch on the field with Cardinals players.
To register, visit www.bigleagueimpact.org/stlfantasyfootball. Sales close at noon (CT) Friday,
Aug. 19.
