NY Giants 24, Baltimore Ravens 20

Julian Love’s interception and 27-yard return set up Saquon Barkley’s 1-yard touchdown dive with 1:43 to play in the NY Giants 24-20 win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.

The now (5-1) Giants surpassed their win total from 2021, and New York has rallied from a 10-plus-point deficit in three of those victories. Meanwhile, the Ravens (3-3) blew a game late for the third time this season.

Daniel Jones threw for 173 yards and two touchdowns.

Lamar Jackson threw for 210 yards and had 77 of the Ravens’ 211 yards rushing

Minnesota Vikings 24, Miami Dolphins 16
Dalvin Cook rushed for a 53-yard insurance touchdown in the fourth quarter to give the Minnesota Vikings a 24-16 win over the injury-riddled Miami Dolphins.

Minnesota improves to (5-1) while Miami drops to (3-3).

Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson had a 47-yard catch-and-run at the end of the third quarter — part of a six-catch, 107-yard performance.

Kirk Cousins was 20 for 30 with 175 yards and two touchdowns. Cook ran for 77 yards on 13 carries.

Miami had three receivers — Jaylen Waddle, Tyreek Hill and Gesicki — with at least six catches. Hill had 12 receptions for 177 receiving yards and Waddle had six catches for 129 yards. Gesicki caught the Dolphins only two touchdowns.

New England Patriots 38, Cleveland Browns 15

Rookie Bailey Zappe threw for 309 yards and two touchdowns as the New England Patriots rolled to a 38-15 victory Sunday, handing the Cleveland Browns their third consecutive loss and their most lopsided defeat of the year.

The Patriots forced Jacoby Brissett to make plays by holding NFL rushing leader Nick Chubb to season lows of 56 yards on 12 carries. Cleveland also lost Pro Bowl guard Wyatt Teller to a calf injury in the first half and did not return.

New England turned Brissett’s three giveaways into 17 points and scored another touchdown off a fumble by punt returner Chester Rogers in the fourth quarter.

Cincinnati Bengals 30, New Orleans Saints 26

Joe Burrow passed for three touchdowns and scrambled 19 yards for a score, with two of his scoring passes going to Ja’Marr Chase in a 30-26 comeback victory over the New Orleans Saints.

Cincinnati (3-3) rallied for nine points in the final four minutes, starting with Evan McPherson’s 52-yard field goal that trimmed New Orleans’ lead to 26-24.

The Saints (2-4) failed to get a first down on their next series, and Blake Gillikin’s shanked punt fluttered out of bounds at the Cincinnati 40.

One play later, Chase was racing away from the Saints secondary to finish his day with seven catches for 132 yards.

New Orleans rushed for 228 yards as a team, but ended four drives inside the Cincinnati 20-yard line with Wil Lutz field goals.

Indianapolis Colts 34, Jacksonville Jaguars 27

Matt Ryan lobbed a 32-yard touchdown pass to rookie receiver Alec Pierce, who caught it just over the hands of a defender with 17 seconds left to give the Indianapolis Colts a 34-27 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Ryan was 42 of 58 for 389 yards with three touchdowns, no sacks and no turnovers. He broke the franchise’s single game record for completions and moved into seventh on the NFL’s career passing list.

(Dan Marino has 61,361 yards. Ryan now has 61,499 yards and 45 career game-winning drives. He’s also fifth all-time with 30 career games of 350 or more yards passing.)

Indy (3-2-1) snapped a two-game skid against its AFC South rival and improved to 1-2-1 in division play.

Jacksonville (2-4) has lost three straight despite 243 yards rushing.

Trevor Lawrence was 20 of 22 with 163 yards and one score while running for two TDs.

Pittsburgh Steelers 20, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 18

Mitch Trubisky helped orchestrate a stunning 20-18 Pittsburgh Steelers victory over Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Pittsburgh (2-4) snapped a four-game losing streak behind 144 yards passing from Trubisky — who filled in after Kenny Pickett went into the concussion protocol late in the third quarter — and a defense that somehow found a way to beat Brady, which the Steelers have failed to do through the years.

Brady completed 25 of 40 passes for 243 yards and a touchdown but also saw drives bog down consistently in the red zone. Four times Tampa Bay drove inside the Pittsburgh 20. Three times the drive ended with Ryan Succop kicking a field goal instead of an extra-point attempt.

New York Jets 27, Green Bay Packers 10

Breece Hall ran for 116 yards, including a 34-yard touchdown, and Quinnen Williams had two of New York’s four sacks against Aaron Rodgers as the Jets won their third straight, 27-10 over the Green Bay Packers.

The Jets (4-2) are off to their best six-game start since 2015, when they also were 4-2 before finishing with a 10-6 record.

Green Bay (3-3) has lost consecutive regular-season games within the same season for the first time since coach Matt LaFleur’s arrival in 2019. The Packers fell 27-22 to the New York Giants in London last week.

The Jets outrushed Green Bay 179-60 in a game during which Zach Wilson was just 10 of 18 for 110 yards.

Rodgers went 26 of 41 for 246 yards with a touchdown.

Atlanta Falcons 28, San Francisco 49ers 14

Marcus Mariota threw a pair of touchdown passes and ran for another score against the NFL’s top-ranked defense, leading the Atlanta Falcons to a 28-14 victory over the San Francisco.

Mariota completed his first 13 passes for the Falcons (3-3), finally throwing his lone incompletion on his final attempt of the day.

He finished with 129 yards through the air in Atlanta’s conservative passing game, also rushing for 50 yards on six carries.

The Niners (3-3) couldn’t overcome two interceptions by Jimmy Garoppolo and a fumble by Jeff Wilson that resulted in a Falcons touchdown.

Seattle Seahawks 19, Arizona Cardinals 9

Rookie Kenneth Walker III rushed for an 11-yard touchdown early in the fourth quarter, and the Seattle Seahawks beat the Arizona Cardinals 19-9 on Sunday.

The Seahawks (3-3) jumped into a share of the lead in the NFC West with San Francisco, which lost earlier Sunday at Atlanta.

Walker took over as Seattle’s feature back because of Rashaad Penny’s season-ending broken leg. He had a season-most 21 carries for 97 yards.

Geno Smith completed 20 of 31 passes for 197 yards for Seattle. He also ran for 48 yards on six carries. Jason Myers kicked four field goals for the Seahawks.

Kyler Murray completed 23 of 37 passes for 222 yards with an interception, while rushing for 100 yards for the Cardinals (2-4), who struggled all day to finish drives.

LA Rams 24, Carolina Panthers 10
Matthew Stafford passed for 253 yards, Darrell Henderson and receiver Ben Skowronek rushed for touchdowns in the second half, and the Los Angeles Rams snapped their two-game skid with a 24-10 victory over the Carolina Panthers.

Allen Robinson caught a TD pass for the defending Super Bowl champion Rams (3-3), who bounced back from two straight ugly defeats and the latest injury setback for their offensive line to spoil Steve Wilks’ debut as the Panthers’ interim head coach.

Wilks took over when Matt Rhule was fired last Monday.

Donte Jackson returned an interception 30 yards for a touchdown for the Panthers (1-5), who have lost three straight. Christian McCaffrey racked up 158 total yards, but P.J. Walker passed for just 60 yards while making his third career start in the injury absences of Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold and Matt Corral.

Buffalo Bills 24, KC Chiefs 20

Josh Allen threw for 329 yards and three touchdowns, including the go-ahead toss to Dawson Knox with 1:04 remaining, and the Buffalo Bills beat the Kansas City Chiefs 24-20.

Stefon Diggs had 10 catches for 148 yards and a touchdown, and Gabe Davis also had a TD catch as the Bills (5-1) finally walked out of Arrowhead Stadium a winner.

Along with last year’s divisional loss, the Bills had their season end against Kansas City in the previous AFC title game.

Patrick Mahomes had one last chance to rally the Chiefs (4-2) in the final minute. But after an incomplete pass, Buffalo cornerback Taron Johnson jumped Mahomes’ pass to Skyy Moore, picking him off with 51 seconds left to effectively end the game.

Mahomes finished with 338 yards passing to go with two touchdowns and two interceptions, including one in the end zone early in the game. JuJu Smith-Schuster had five catches for 113 yards and a touchdown.

SUNDAY NIGHT:   Philadelphia Eagles 26, Dallas Cowboys 17

Jalen Hurts threw for 155 yards and two touchdowns, C.J. Gardner-Johnson had two of Philadelphia’s three interceptions of Cooper Rush, and the Eagles stayed undefeated with a 26-17 win over the Dallas Cowboys.

The Eagles held on after their 20-0 lead shrank to 20-17 early in the fourth quarter, improving to 6-0 for the first time since 2004 — when they won their first seven games and went to the Super Bowl.

Philly put the game away with an efficient drive that took up more than half the fourth quarter. Hurts hit DeVonta Smith for a 7-yard touchdown.

The Eagles failed on the 2-point conversion and led 26-17.

Ezekiel Elliott scored on a 14-yard run in the third that made it 20-10 and Rush, who mostly struggled, threw a 7-yard touchdown pass to Jake Ferguson in the fourth for a 20-17 game.

Gardner-Johnson made a diving catch for his second interception to cut off one late drive, and Brett Maher missed a 59-yard field-goal attempt in a last-gasp effort to stay within striking distance.

TONIGHT on MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL:

The (2-3) Denver Broncos are in Los Angeles to take on the (3-2) Chargers.

Game winner: Buffalo Bills cornerback Taron Johnson makes an impressive break on the ball to intercept a pass thrown by Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes with :51 left in the fourth quarter. Bills win 24-20.

Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker makes a 62-yard field goal, the longest field goal in Arrowhead Stadium and the Chiefs’ franchise history.

New York Jets defensive end Micheal Clemons blocks a punt from the Green Bay Packers and is recovered by safety Will Parks for a touchdown.

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase’s 60-yard TD puts Bengals ahead of New Orleans Saints late.

Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook ices game with 53-yard TD run in Miami.
