West Plains Hosts “For The Love of Zizzer Sports Night”
The high school parking lot was full this past Thursday evening, as the West Plains School district hosted “For the Love of Zizzer Sports Night”. On Thursday, there just so happened to be five different sporting events taking place at the middle and high schools. The community was invited to come watch high school football, volleyball, tennis, and softball, along with middle school volleyball. The entry fee into these events? One non-perishable food item to be donated to the Bridge’s program. Over 800 canned/non-perishable items and over $2,200 in cash were donated to the Bridges Program by the people of our community.
This event is one that brought many different people together and will hopefully continue throughout the years.
