The West Plains Zizzers took on the Rolla Bulldogs in a basketball game tonight, Friday, February 7, 2025.
The first quarter starts off fast and ends fast. The Zizzers and the Bulldogs going head to head fighting to get the lead of the game. Tying one time with a score of 11 points each. The Rolla Bulldogs then leave the Zizzers in the dust taking the leading score and ending the quarter with a score of 22 to 13.
The Bulldogs start off strong again, determined to keep the lead through the second quarter. Thy continue to pull forward as the Zizzers stay stuck in the same spot, score of 31 to 13. The Zizzers finally score the first point of the quarter 2 and half minutes into the 2nd quarter. West Plains get a few good shots in getting their score up which is only answered by Rolla with more points, the score rising to 38 to 18, a 20 point game. The Bulldogs dominate the first half of the game, leading the Zizzers by 29 points, 52 to 23.
The Third quarter starts with both teams trying harder than the first half, both scoring points neither scoring too much more than the other, leaving the score at 59 to 27, the Bulldogs in the lead with four minutes left of the quarter. The Bulldogs and Zizzers fight some more bringing the game to a 30 point game 62 to 32. The third quarter ends and the turbo clock starts for fourth quarter with a score of 67 to 37, Bulldogs still in the lead.
The end of the game starts off fast, the turbo clock giving them no choice but to play to win. Bulldogs continue to score the Zizzers behind them. Halfway through fourth quarter, teammates switch as the score clock sits at 79 to 44. The quarter ends with no change in winner. The Bulldogs take the game with a score of 88 to 46.
