West Plains, MO. – The West Plains Zizzers took on the Logan-Rogersville Wildcats at Rogersville on December 16, 2022. This game was a nail biter from beginning to finish. The first quarter went well for West Plains. The Zizzers were leading the Wildcats at the end of the first with a score of 12 to 8. In the second quarter, the Wildcats warm up and ready to play ball. The Wildcats took the lead from the Zizzers, West Plains trailing by six, 18 to 24.
Following halftime, the third quarter saw West Plains playing catch up to Logan-Rogersville. The Wildcats kept ahead of the Zizzers in baskets, holding onto their six point lead and ending the quarter, West Plains 30 – Logan-Rogersville 36. The final moments of the game were tense. In the last minute, the game was tied up multiple times and both teams were calling time-outs with nearly every basket. In the final ten seconds of the game, the Wildcats were able to break the tie and grow their lead, defeating the Zizzers.
The West Plains Zizzers were defeated by the Logan-Rogersville Wildcats, 47 to 51.
