The Royals two-game winning streak came to an end at home. Kansas City lost to the Chicago White Sox 4-2 at Kauffman Stadium. Vinnie Pasquantino led the way for the Royals at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two RBI and a run scored. Starting pitcher Jordan Lyles fell to 0-and-6 after allowing four earned runs and striking out six in a complete game. The Royals fall to 10-and-27. They will host Chicago tonight with right-hander Brad Keller on the mound.
