COLUMBIA, Mo. – One more former Mizzou football student-athlete has agreed to terms with an NFL organization to join their team as an undrafted free agent, while another has been invited to rookie minicamp.
Defensive tackle Kristian Williams has agreed to terms with the Denver Broncos, while linebacker Corey Flagg Jr., has been invited to the Kansas City Chiefs rookie minicamp.
Kristian Williams
Williams played three seasons at Mizzou after lettering two years at the University of Oregon. The 2024 Tigers team captain compiled 107 tackles, 13.0 tackles for loss, 3.0 sacks, five pass breakups, three caused fumbles, one fumble recovery and eight quarterback pressures in 63 career games (39 starts). He finished his tenure registering one-plus tackle in 21 of final 26 games played and registered three-plus tackles in 14 games, including a career-high seven tackles against Oklahoma in 2024.
The Memphis, Tennessee, native garnered 1.0 tackles for loss on 10 occasions, including a career-best 2.0 versus Arkansas in 2022. He also carded 1.0 sack in contests with Auburn (2022), Arkansas (2022) and Mississippi State (2024) and secured one pass breakup five times against Utah (2021), Louisiana Tech (2022), Georgia (2023), Arkansas (2023), and Vanderbilt (2024). Additionally, Williams earned one caused fumble versus Kansas State (2022), South Dakota (2023) and Mississippi State (2024), while his lone fumble recovery came against Florida in 2023.
Corey Flagg Jr.
Flagg Jr. played one season at Mizzou after lettering four years at the University of Miami. In 56 career games (30 starts), Flagg Jr. registered 260 tackles, 29.0 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, two interceptions, one pass breakup, one caused fumble, two fumble recoveries and eight quarterback pressures. He also posted 42 games with three-plus tackles and 31 contests with five-plus stops.
The Houston, Texas, product recorded double-figure tackles on three occasions, including a career-best 14 tackles against Oklahoma in 2024. He posted 2.0 tackles for loss in four games, including a career-best 3.0 against North Carolina in 2022 and carded 1.0 sack against Michigan State (2021), North Carolina (2021), Florida State (2021), Middle Tennessee (2022), Virginia Tech (2022), and Boston College (2024). Flagg Jr. tallied one interception in contests with Virginia (2021) and Massachusetts (2024) and secured one career caused fumble against Clemson in 2023 and two career fumble recoveries against Duke (2020) and Arkansas (2024).
