Wednesday night at the Class 4 District 11 basketball tournament, the Willow Springs Bears took on the Rogersville Wildcats in semi-final action. It was a very slow start to the game, as both teams struggled on offense. At the end of the first quarter, the Bears held on to a slim 7-6 lead.
It would be a battle of two very good defensive teams for the rest of the game.

With the hard fought win, the Bears pick up their 20th win of the season. On Friday night, both the Bears and Lady Bears will play in the district championship.
