The Willow Springs Bears played host to the undefeated Ava Bears Friday night for Senior Night. In total 17 seniors on the Willow Springs team took part and would fight, scratch and claw and make it an entertaining game for all those in attendance. Walton to Cheney had a 48-yard connection for a touchdown, while Walton had one more running and passing. Tryton Henley chipped in with 2 touchdowns as well. Kyle Wood exploded with a 62-yard touchdown. Willow Springs would fall short however, as Swofford would lead Ava with 3 touchdowns, while Myers and Bray chipped in with 2 as well. Skyles chipped in with another 50-yard TD for Ava. The Willow Springs Bears fall to 4-5 on the season while Ava moves to 9-0. Willow will move on next week to play in the first round of District tournament play.
