Columbia, Mo.- The Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) will announce classification and district assignments for winter sports on Friday, December 11th. The original date of the release was scheduled for Friday, November 13th. As member schools continue to evaluate their ability to safely participate in sports and activitiesfor the winter season, delaying the release of classifications will allow for schools to have additional time to decide on postseason participation. This delay will also allow the Board of Directors the opportunity to discuss winter classifications and postseason at the Decemberboard meeting.The new classification release date for Basketball, Girls Swimming & Diving, Boys Wrestling, and Girls Wrestling will be Friday, December 11.
