COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri women’s basketball will be looking for its sixth-consecutive win at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday against Oral Roberts at Mizzou Arena. The contest will stream live on SECN+.
Missouri is coming off a 21-point victory over Lipscomb on Sunday.
Five Tigers scored in double-figures against the Bisons marking the third occasion Missouri has had five or more players with 10+ points this season.
Sophomore guard Abbey Schreacke led Missouri in scoring with 16 points off the bench behind four 3-pointers.
Graduate guard De’Myla Brown notched her Mizzou best scoring total with 13 points on Sunday.
Sophomore guard Ashton Judd contributed 10 points and has averaged 14.8 points and 5.8 rebounds in the last five games.
Schreacke leads the SEC and ranks fifth nationally with 37 3-pointers this season.
The sophomore also ranks sixth in the SEC in 3-point percentage (41.6).
As a team, the Tigers lead the SEC and are fifth nationally in 3-point percentage at 40.3 percent.
Sophomore guard Grace Slaughter leads the country in 3-point percentage among (59.0) athletes with 20+ makes on the year.
Redshirt sophomore guard Averi Kroenke ranks fourth in the SEC and 15th in the country with a 3.1 assist-to-turnover ratio.
Oral Roberts enters Wednesday at 7-3 following a loss to Oklahoma on Sunday.
The Golden Eagles finished last year at 21-11 including a 13-2 mark against Summit League opponents.
Oral Roberts is coached by Kelsi Musick who is in her third season on the sidelines in Tulsa with a 40-33 record.
The Golden Eagles roster is headlined by redshirt junior guard Jalei Oglesby who averages 16.4 points and 6.4 rebounds per game.
Oral Roberts has five players who average 10+ points per contest this season.
Wednesday will mark the eighth meeting between the programs with Missouri holding an unblemished 7-0 advantage in the all-time series.
The Tigers’ last victory over the Golden Eagles came on Dec. 19, 2020.
