COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri Women’s Basketball will travel to face Flordia at 5 p.m. CT on Thursday. The contest will air on SECN+.
Missouri is coming off a loss to Arkansas on Sunday.
Returning from injury, Hayley Frank scored 22 points and grabbed six rebounds to lead the Tigers against the Razorbacks.
Following the performance, Frank ranks fourth in the SEC in scoring at 17.7 points per game.
Following up a triple-double performance, Mama Dembele added 13 points, seven boards and five assists to the effort.
Dembele ranks first in the SEC with 6.8 assists per game (4th nationally) and second in the conference with 3.1 steals (10th nationally).
Sophomore Ashton Judd scored 12 points to extend her double-digit scoring streak to six games.
Freshman guard Grace Slaughter ranks third in the SEC among first-year players with 11.5 points per game.
Mizzou generates much of its offense from beyond the arc, ranks second in the SEC (26th nationally) in 3-point percentage (36.1%) and 18th in the country (2nd in SEC) with 8.7 makes per contest
Individually, the Tigers have three players, Abbey Schreacke (40%), Slaughter (39.3%) and Frank (39.3%) ranked top 10 in the conference in 3-point percentage.
Florida enters Thursday at 13-11 including a 4-8 mark in the conference following losses to Ole Miss and Kentucky last week.
The Gators are led by third-year head coach Kelly Rae Finley who holds a 53-37 record at the helm.
Finley led Florida to the quarterfinals of the WNIT a season ago.
Offensively, the Gators are led by the trio of Aliyah Matharu, Leilani Correa and Ra Shaya Kyle who all average double-digit scoring numbers.
Missouri holds a commanding 11-3 lead in the all-time series, including a 5-1 record in Gainesville.
