COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri women’s basketball (16-6, 5-4 SEC) will face off with No. 25 Ole Miss (17-4, 5-3 SEC) at Mizzou Arena. Tipoff has been adjusted to 4 p.m. CT on Thursday due to weather. The game will air on SEC Network with Eric Frede and Tamika Catchings on the call. Students can receive free admission to the game by showing their Student ID at the door.
The Tigers picked up a road win in their last contest, defeating Alabama 77-61 in Tuscaloosa. LaDazhia Williams led the way for Mizzou with 18 points, six rebounds and three blocks. Lauren Hansen also added 17 points and Aijha Blackwell picked up her 17th double double of the season. Blackwell has put up 11 double doubles in a row.
The all-time series with Ole Miss is quite one-sided with the Tigers winning 13 of 14. The Rebels’ only victory over Mizzou came in 1981 in Oxford.
Hayley Frank has been shooting 48.3 percent (29-for-60) from three in SEC play while averaging 17.2 points per game. Frank has hit at least three three-pointers in a game 11 times during the season.
The Tigers’ shooting has been lights-out all season. Mizzou ranks third in the nation in three-point field goal percentage (39.8) and fourth in the nation in total field goal percentage (47.3).
