BATON ROUGE, La. – University of Missouri women’s basketball (13-3, 2-1 SEC) will face a top 25 program in No. 12 LSU (15-2, 3-1 SEC). Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. CT on Thursday night on SEC Network +.
The Tigers are looking to win in Baton Rouge for the first time since 1988. LSU leads the all-time series 11-4 and have won six of the seven meetings in Baton Rouge.
Mizzou is returning to action after falling on the road at Arkansas by a score of 83-73. Mama Dembele put up a career-best 16 points while dishing out five assists. She went 3-for-3 from beyond the arc. Hayley Frank added 22 points and five rebounds while Aijha Blackwell picked up her 11th double double of the season.
Hayley Frank has been on fire for Mizzou of late. She has averaged 18.3 points, 5.7 rebounds over the last six games while shooting 65 percent from the field, 54 percent from three and 95 percent from the free throw line.
