Yadier Molina Says Private Jet Scheduled to Pick Up His Family Crashed in Dominican Republic

Retired Cardinals great Yadier Molina says a private jet scheduled to pick him up and fly his family from Texas back to Puerto Rico crashed Sunday in the Dominican Republic. Molina says the Gulfstream G200 was set to transport family and friends, but no passengers were on board when it went down after a refueling stop. Two American pilots were killed. The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Molina posted his condolences to the pilots’ families, calling the tragedy devastating. The 10-time All-Star retired from the Cardinals in 2022 after 19 seasons.
