It came down to the last play, but West Plains Zizzers Varsity was on the wrong end of a 4-3 defeat to Sylvan Hills on Saturday. The game was tied at three with Sylvan Hills batting in the bottom of the seventh when #10 singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
WP got things started in the first inning when Tank Sims tripled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

JR Free started the game for the Zizzers. The freshman went four innings, allowing zero runs on three hits and striking out six.
Nelson Hoover went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead WP in hits.
Tough loss, but very proud of these young men. They’ve played a lot over the last week, and are always getting better.
