Varsity Zizzers pick up the W against Mansfield 14-0. JV also gets the W 10-0.
Hunter Roberts was brilliant on the mound throwing a no-hitter to lead West Plains in the W.
Zizzers were boosted by Rylan Kenslow who went 4-for-4 at the plate. Kenslow doubled in the first, doubled in the third, tripled in the third, and singled in the fifth.
WP scored nine runs in the third inning led by Jaden Barrett, Trey Miller, Peyton Cooper, Kenslow, and Nelson Hoover, who all drove in runs. Cooper went yard in the third inning with a home run.
Roberts was the winning pitcher for WP Zizzers. The sophomore righty allowed zero hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out five and walking one.
The Zizzers didn’t commit a single error in the field. Cooper had six chances in the field, the most on the team.
Winning pitcher for JV was Preston Carroll. Multiple hits collected throughout the entire JV lineup.
