The West Plains Zizzers sought to even out their win-loss ratio as they took on the Parkview Vikings on a chilly Friday the 13th.
The game started off slowly for both teams, with the West Plains Zizzers scoring the only touchdown of the quarter and grabbed a two-point conversion. The rare successful two-point conversion was a sign of how the rest of the game would go for West Plains as they made four more unanswered touchdowns in the second quarter to end the half 37 to 0.
During the third quarter, the Zizzers made another touchdown and switched in many second string players. This allowed the Vikings to take control of the remainder of the quarter and the game. Parkview would answer West Plains with one touchdown in the third quarter and two more touchdowns during the fourth. Of the three touchdowns by the Vikings, one extra point kick was good, one failed as well as a two-point conversion attempt.
The West Plains Zizzers defeat the Parkview Vikings 44 to 20. This takes West Plains to 4 wins and 4 losses as they face the last game of the regular season on October 20th before the start of the post-season on the final Friday of the month.
