The West Plains Zizzers hosted the Kickapoo Chiefs for their Mid-Winter game. The Zizzers entered the game with a 7 to 12 record for the season and were looking for a win during their Mid-Winter game.
Defense was the name of the game and Kickapoo had this in spades. The first quarter of the game went to the Chiefs, who kept the Zizzers from getting good shots and left them trailing by 7 points. By halftime, West Plains fell further behind Kickapoo by another 6 points, ending the half 23 to 36.
The third quarter was even more devastating for the Zizzers, as the Chiefs scored 2 points for every 1 point West Plains scored. In the fourth, the Zizzers played at the same pace as they had for the rest of the game, adding 12 points while the Chiefs added their smallest total to the board of 15.
The West Plains Zizzers lose to the Kickapoo Chiefs 44 to 69.
