The West Plains Zizzers took on the Yellowjackets in Lebanon on October 10th and were looking to break a two game losing streak. Finding victory against the Yellowjackets would be an uphill battle as Lebanon is the best team in the class.
The first quarter started poorly for West Plains. The Zizzers received the kick to start play but would lose control of the ball during the first play and Lebanon would score on the first play of their first possession. The Yellowjackets would make one more touchdown and a field goal in the first quarter.
During the second quarter, West Plains finally made their way onto the scoreboard with a touchdown but, not without giving up three touchdown to Lebanon. The first half ended with Lebanon leading West Plains 38-7.
The third quarter continued to go poorly for West Plains. The Zizzers were not able to get into the endzone and unable to stop two more touchdowns from Lebanon. The Zizzers were able to prevent any more Yellowjacket touchdowns during the fourth and added another seven points of their own but victory evaded them again as the turboclock went to zero.
The West Plains Zizzers fall to the undefeated Lebanon Yellowjackets 14 to 52. The Zizzers go to 3 wins and 4 losses.
