The West Plains Zizzers hosted the Sikeston Bulldogs in the Zizzers last conference game of the season on February 27th, 2020. The game started with a quick lead for West Plains as the Zizzers shot up the score, sinking 5 3-point shots, and ended the first quarter leading the Bulldogs by 5 points, 23 to 18. The second quarter had the Bulldogs fighting back and gaining a lead of 5 points over West Plains at the half, 31-36.
The second half of the game started off with new energy from the Zizzers, with West Plains outmaneuvering Sikeston for a close lead at the end of the third, 51 to 48. The Sikeston Bulldogs showed that they were more bite than bark during the fourth quarter, getting the upper hand over the West Plains Zizzers and ended the game with a 15 point lead over their host. This game ends the season for the West Plains Zizzers and sets their wins to 12 and losses to 13.
Again, the West Plains Zizzers lose to the Sikeston Bulldogs, 62 to 77.
