The West Plains Zizzers boys basketball team took on the Goblins of Harrison, Arkansas on Saturday, Dec. 16th. The boys were looking to get their first win of the year.
The Zizzers had an early lead against the Goblins in the first quarter but, once the Harrison team took the lead, they would begin to run away with the score. By the end of the half, the Zizzers were behind by 16 points with a score of 19 to 35.
The Zizzers would struggle to keep pace with the quick, accurate shooting of the Harrison Goblins. The third quarter would see West Plains trailing more than 20 points and the Zizzers would struggle to stay out of turbo clock territory.
Zizzers make final shot of the game but fall to the Goblins 48 to 73. Zizzers continue their losing streak with 0 wins and 6 losses for the season.
The West Plains Lady Zizzers will be playing against Nixa High School in West Plains on Monday, Dec. 18th and be broadcast on Hot Country 102.5 KKDY.
