The West Plains Zizzers took on the Camdenton Lakers at Camdenton High School on Jan. 18, 2024. This game was initially scheduled for Jan. 16, but was rescheduled due to snow and subzero wind chills.
The game started very well for West Plains, with a strong 7 point lead during the first quarter. By the end of the half, Camdenton had caught up and surpassed the Zizzers, with the Lakers leading at the half 24-23.
The score stayed close in the third quarter as the Zizzers struggled to regain the lead. West Plains would end the third behind by a single point again in the game, with Camdenton at 39 and the Zizzers at 38.
During the fourth quarter, the Zizzers would finally manage to tie the score at 42 and go on to outscore the Lakers 24 to 9 in the quarter to take the win.
The West Plains Zizzers defeat the Camdenton Lakers 62 to 48. The Zizzers will play again on Friday night in West Plains for their Mid-Winter game against the Branson Pirates.
