The West Plains Zizzers boys basketball took on the Branson Pirates in cross conference play on Friday, January 24 2020. The Zizzers took a small, but early, lead over the Pirates to end the first quarter 8 to 3. West Plains didn’t let up on Branson in the second quarter, tripling their score to 24 over 13.
Branson played a hard game in the third quarter, scoring another 13 points while West Plains only scored 9 but kept the lead. The final quarter of the game is where the Zizzers showed just how effective their offense can be, earning 19 points and holding the Pirates to scoring 10.

Again, the West Plains Zizzers defeated the Branson Pirates, 52 to 36. The Zizzer boys will play again in the Bolivar Tournament starting on January 30, 2020.
