The West Plains Zizzers took on the Lebanon Yellowjackets at Lebanon on Thursday night, February 15th. The Zizzers were hoping to add their first win since their game against Waynesville on Feb. 7th, and put a win on their 8 – 15 record.
The first half of the game stayed close between both teams. The Zizzers were able to take a 6 point lead in the first quarter but, the Yellowjackets would close that gap to a mere 2 points by halftime. The second half was where the Jackets started to fall behind.
By the end of the third quarter, West Plains had grown their lead to 11 points. In the final quarter of the game, Lebanon seemed resigned to a loss in the final few minutes of the game as the Zizzers make successful shots.
The West Plains Zizzers defeat the Lebanon Yellowjackets 57 to 41. The Zizzers record grows to 8 wins, 15 loses. Lebanon falls to 11 wins and 12 loses.
