The West Plains Zizzers took on the Reed Spring Wolves in district play on Saturday February 29th, 2020. West Plains started off the game with a strong showing, scoring 20 points during the first quarter with the Wolves answering with 12 points. The Zizzers kept playing hard and fast against the Wolves and, during the second quarter, almost doubled the their opponents score. The halftime score was 31 points for the West Plains Zizzers and 16 for the Reed Spring Wolves.
After the half, the West Plains Zizzers did not relent the pressure on the Reed Spring Wolves. During the third quarter, West Plains was able to gain and maintain a 20 point lead over Reed Spring and end the quarter 49 to 29. In the fourth quarter, both teams used the most time-outs and fouls during the game. Despite the slower pace, the West Plains Zizzers maintained their lead over the Reed Spring Wolves and won the game.
Again, the West Plains Zizzers win against the Reed Spring Wolves, 64 to 42. The Zizzers play again on Tuesday night against the Rogersville Wildcats.
