The West Plains Zizzers Boys played the Marshfield Bluejays on Friday, January 3 2020 at the West Plains Civic Center. The Zizzers started the game with a fast lead over the Bluejays with a 7-2 lead in the first few minutes. West Plains kept their energy up to end the first quarter 17 to 11. Both teams were able to double their score to deliver a halftime score of 34 to 25, with the Zizzers in the lead.
The third quarter helped to prove that the Zizzers had gotten over their halftime flake problem that had plagued them this season so far, earning another 13 points and keeping a 10 point lead over Marshfield. The Bluejays played a tough fourth quarter but were not able to catch up to West Plains with a final score of 59 to 52.
