A juvenile from Wright County sustained moderate injuries at 2:30 p.m. Friday on Highway U three miles south of Mansfield.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident occurred when the northbound Chevrolet Silverado being driven by the 17-year-old juvenile driver from Mansfield, traveled off the left side of the road, returned to the road, then traveled off the right side of the road and struck a tree.

The juvenile driver was taken by ground ambulance to Cox South Hospital in Springfield.
The reporting officer was Trooper T.L. Sullivan of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
