Mtn. View, MO. – Another individual has been reported as injured in an accident during Thursday’s winter weather, this time in the vicinity of Mountain View.
Robert Heavrin, an 89-year-old man from Mountain View, was driving a 1999 GMC Sierra truck, when he travelled off the right side of U.S. Highway 60 just two miles West of Mountain View. This ended with the vehicle extensively damaged and overturned.

Heavrin was transported through Mercy Ambulance to Springfield, where he is being treated at Mercy. The time of the crash was roughly 12:20pm. Heavrin was wearing his safety device.
This crash was investigated by Corporal M.J. Chastain of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
