Graveside Services for Beverly Jean Brooks, Age 65 of Summersville, Missouri will be held on Saturday, May 23rd, 2026 in The Bethel Cemetery, Summersville, Missouri, beginning at 11:30 AM. Visitation will be held prior to the service at The Bradford Funeral Home, Summersville, Missouri, beginning at 10:00 AM.
Beverly Jean Brooks, 65, of Summersville, Missouri, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Beverly was born on November 14, 1960, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Erma McKee and Austin McKee, and was lovingly raised by Bill Honeycutt. She attended Summersville High School.
Beverly found joy in life’s simple moments. She loved tending to her flower beds, camping, sewing, trips to Goodwill with a McDonalds sweet tea and in most recent days spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Beverly was baptized in 1979 and rededicated her life to the Lord April 5, 2026.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Erma and Bill Honeycutt, and her son, Jason Hayes.
She is survived by her children, Jody Cooper of Summersville, Billy and Amanda Hayes of Columbia MO, Sonny Hayes of Jonesboro AR, Kendall and Shaynah Vandevort of Fordland MO, and Boston Stark of Cabool MO; Grandchildren Bobby and Caitlynn Cooper of Summersville MO, Landon and Lacey Clinton of Willow Springs MO, Matthew Martin of West Plains MO, Dylan Hayes of Columbia and Cameryn Hayes of Columbia MO; Great grandchildren Brinnley, Maci and Jaxon Clinton. Eli, Emmie and Hiram Cooper.
Beverly will be remembered for her loving heart, her strength, and the warmth she brought into the lives of those around her. She leaves behind a family and friends who will miss her dearly and carry her memory with them always.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bev’s memory may be made to Bradford Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses.
