City of West Plains Accepting Debris Until End of Week

West Plains, MO. – It’s now the week after the windstorms that occurred earlier this month and many within the mid-to-northern Howell County area are still cleaning up the debris.

Yesterday, the City of West Plains announced that they will be assisting in the clean-up by accepting storm debris at the city’s transfer station this week free-of-charge. This time period extends until the end of the week at 4pm.

However, this does not mean that sanitation crews will be picking up debris at residential pickups. Those who wish to drop off their debris will need to do so by transporting it to the transfer station themselves.
