Houston, MO—Texas County Memorial Hospital held their COVID-19 Moderna vaccine drive thru clinic at the Drury University parking lot on Thursday, April 15. The event was the first ever drive thru clinic for TCMH.
TCMH vaccinated 91 people with their first dose of the Covid-19 Moderna vaccine. The National Guard, AmeriCorps, and Texas County Health Department assisted to make it a successful, well-ordered event.
The booster clinic is scheduled for Thursday, May 13th at the same location. This drive thru event will only be for the individuals that received their first dose with TCMH at the clinic on April 15th.
“It is important that individuals return for the second dose to develop the highest level of immunity,” Jenn Capeder, director of infection control at TCMH said.
Each person that received the vaccine at the drive thru clinic on Thursday should have been scheduled for a return appointment time on May 13th. Reminders will be sent directly from the navigator online system.
