He is survived by: Connie Lucas of West Plains, Missouri; his sons, Jeremy Lucas and Joel Lucas; his daughter, Jennifer Lucas; his brother, Clyde Lucas; his sister, Laura Hower; many nieces and nephews and his beloved grandchildren.
Ed was once a city slicker from California who had one hell of a crazy life, but he turned country boy when he found the beauty of the Ozarks. He loved his Community. He loved every animal big or small. He could grow anything he wanted for sustenance or pleasure. Not many people knew but he was a talented musician with his guitar and a great singer. He was also an artist in his later years but his failing health prohibited him from working very much on his artwork. He loved to fish, and to just be one with nature. He was a diehard St. Louis Cardinals fan go – red birds! Most people saw him as an old hermit which he was, but he also was so much more.
We all love and miss you Dad, you’re not in pain anymore!
