She is survived by two sons Robby Bennett and his wife, Brenda of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, Todd Bennett of Mammoth Spring Arkansas, four grandchildren Bailey Bennett of Fayetteville Arkansas, Blake Bennett, Bret Bennett, and Bryce Bennett of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, her brother Bill Fesler of Thayer, Missouri and a sister Cathy Allen of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, as well as a host of nieces and nephews, and many many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Mary, step mom, Irene VanDevoorde, Brother Frank Hudson, Sister Sandy Moody, and Brother Bob Fesler.
Mary Gay was one of a kind and the life of any room she entered. She was always positive and happy and spread joy and laughter wherever she went. She loved her family and her friends. She did not sweat the small stuff and was always optimistic. Even last Friday when being brought home from the hospital on hospice she said “maybe I’ll do better than they think”. She did not dwell. She was loved by so many people.
Graveside services will be 10am Friday, September 30, 2022, at the Riverside Cemetery in Mammoth Spring, AR, with Bro. Brad Pierce officiating. Ms. Bennett will lie in state at the funeral home Thursday, September 29. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Thayer, MO.
