West Plains, MO. – The snow plows that were named last year during winter in the City of West Plains are making a fashionable return this year to service the area, with new designs courtesy of several education facilities.
Each of the six snowplows were each assigned to a particular education facility, who were then tasked with decorating the plows of the vehicles in the theme of their namesake.
The plow named “Sleetwood Mac” was assigned to Richards K-8 School. “Buzz Iceclear” went to the West Plains Elementary. “Plowasaurus Rex” was painted by the West Plains Middle School. “Scoop Dog” was assigned to the West Plains Highschool. The Zizzer Pride Academy took charge of “Pepe Le Plow”. Finally, “Mike Plowzowski” was given a vinyl wrap by the Southern Missouri Technical Institute.
Each of the plows are currently on display in the East lot of the West Plains Civic Center until Thursday of next week. Citizens of the area are invited to check out the fleet. In addition, individuals are asked to vote on which plow they like the best by following the link found here.
The art students who garner the most support for their plow are said to receive a prize from the City of West Plains.
