Nancy Lee Conrad

Nancy Lee Conrad, age 85, of Alton, MO, was born December 8, 1935, in Curwensville, PA, to Clifford and Miriam Bailey and passed away January 2, 2021, at Birch Tree Place in Birch Tree, MO. Nancy was united in marriage August 31, 1952, to Gifford “Blaine” Conrad.

Nancy is survived by: her husband, Blaine of the home; one son, Wesley Blaine Conrad and his wife Tena of Alton MO; one daughter, Jandele Sue Palmer of Alton MO; two brothers, Thomas Bailey and wife Martha of Akron, OH; and Sherman Bailey and wife Pam also of Akron, OH; two sisters, Dixie Horn of Rockton, PA, and Pat Marley and husband Robert also of Rockton PA; 4 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Clifford and Miriam (Swatsworth) Bailey; and one brother, Robert Bailey.

Her hobbies included crocheting, gardening, and writing. She was a published author. She enjoyed walking in the woods, fishing, feeding the birds and taking care of her dogs.
