Licking, MO. – Texas County Memorial Hospital (TCMH) has recently announced the official grand opening date of their new clinic in Licking, Missouri. The grand opening and ribbon cutting will be held on July 11, 2024, from 2 to 4 p.m. This will include an open house and a public tour of the clinic. The first day of healthcare services will be Monday, July 15, 2024.
The new TCMH Licking Family Clinic is the former 8,400-square-foot Sturgeon Chevrolet building. It is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including an X-ray facility, laboratory services, and a phlebotomy station. There are three healthcare provider offices, nine examination rooms, a procedure room, three nursing stations, a mass infusion room, drive-thru testing and vaccinations, and covered drop-off facilities.
According to Bridges, $1,690,000 of the funding for the new clinic was granted to them through the Community Develop Block Grant COVID-19 program (CBDG-CV) from the Missouri Department of Economic Development. This Licking project was one of 41 funded by the CBDG-CV which gave out a total of $41.2 million.
