The West Plains Police Department is pleased to announce the promotion of three of their officers. Chief Monticelli stated, “Promotions are always difficult when you have so many great employees.” All three of the promotions take effect on June 14, 2020.
Officer Joshua Wichowski is being promoted to Corporal/FTO. Corporal Wichowski has been with the West Plains Police Department since 2019 when he was hired as a Police Officer. Corporal Wichowski served as a police officer for the City of Springfield, Florida Police Department prior to coming to West Plains.
Officer Wesley Stuart is being promoted to Corporal/FTO. Corporal Stuart has been with the West Plains Police Department since 2019 when he was hired as a Police Officer. Corporal Stuart served as a member of the Mountain View Police Department.
Officer Shannon Sisney is being promoted to Corporal/FTO. Corporal Sisney has been with the West Plains Police Department as a full time Officer since 2011. Corporal Sisney is presently assigned day watch for the City of West Plains.
